the inevitable Hornsby... that's the way it is, all right.
and the Smithereens when their sound was still fresh, "Strangers When We Meet".
and also inevitable: Mr Winwood, "Higher Love". Still a great single, if overplayed.

BOS Ms Lauper, "True Colors", one that doesn't get played much outside of "lite" radio. Lovely. And a pox on Phil Collins' remake -- feh!
