Just like Boulder.

And I think the TOTHC is a repeater if I remember Ginger's first-half backsell correctly--China, by the Red Rockers.
Let's get right to it.

#2 unsure, but the phrase "The message is you" seemed to be the catchphrase of the song.

#3 Eurythmics, but not the same track as Ginger played. This time it was Love is a Stranger.

Followed up by Stevie Ray--Lenny? Instrumental so I'm guessing here too.
Let's get right to it.

I was at the chiropractor.

Here's what I missed:

2/27/06 - Monday....  Time to Visit...1983!!!

Red Rockers - China
Gary Myrick - Message is You
Eurythmics - Love is a Stranger
Stevie Ray Vaughan - Lenny
Michael Jackson - Beat it
Tears for Fears - Change
Psychedelic Furs - Love My Way
Madness - Our House (BEST OF SET!!)
Don Henley - Nobody's Business
Fixx - One Thing Leads to Another
BONUS TRACK:  Naked Eyes - Always Something There To Remind Me

Yeesh!  Can't believe anyone still likes that Madness song enough to vote for it.  Horribly overplayed everywhere.

Thanks for posting the list Mark. I ended up getting busy with work, so never did check back although I did listen to the rest of the set. I'd be hard pressed to pick a BOS out of that selection--nothing there really moves me terribly. Maybe either the Gary Myrick or the Psych Furballs.

Mike's gotta be sick. This has been the fewest number of posts on a non-holiday EVER, I think.

It's nice to be missed

A vacay day -- it was my day to hang with Gaz and we did a daytrip to Village Music in Mill Valley. He was most impressed and bought some 45s. He says "Hi" and sends love to all -- he'll be catching up with posts when he gets back to NYC tomorrow nite.

Replaying in a few minutes.  "The Message Is You" and "Beat It" sound especially good on this day.  And the trip with Mike and the 45s was indeed fab and gear.  Here's what I came away with:

Crystal Gayle, "Don't It Make My Brown Eyes Blue"
Anne Murray, "Walk Right Back"
Sam Harris, "Sugar Don't Bite"
The 5th Dimension, "The Declaration" (i.e., of Independence, set to music) b/w "A Change Is Gonna Come/People Gotta Be Free"
Kid Creole and the Coconuts, "There But for the Grace of God Go I"

I hope you all had lovely weeks and are having a nice weekend!
