I remember the Summer of '69, visiting my girlfriend at her parents home in Stockton.  The local channel (KCRA?) would always end with that video of the F-104 Starfighter, and the pilot's prayer, which ended up something like "slipped the surly bonds of earth, and touched the face of God"  I've been searching for that clip for years.

In NY, sometimes when local channels at 3am or so, you could pick up a hazy signal from a station in Philly.
