I logged in early & for the first time this week my stream is NOT majorly f---ed up.

Kicked of with w/ a long soliloquy by Ginger on the respective merits of "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" (1st time Freddy played rhythm guitar!)

Then into "Mirror In The Bathroom", followed by one of my many favorite Caddyshack clips.

Judge Smails: Ty, what did you shoot today?
Ty Webb: Oh, Judge, I don't keep score.
Judge Smails: Then how do you measure yourself with other golfers?
Ty Webb: By height.
Judge Smails: You know, you should play with Dr. Beeper and myself. I mean, he's been club champion for three years running and I'm no slouch myself.
Ty Webb: Don't sell yourself short Judge, you're a tremendous slouch.

Then we get "Rough Boys" & "Pulling Mussles from the Shell"
"Music is the Earth, People are the Flowers, and I am the Hose."

Still no luck for me despite several attempts to reconnect.  Don't know if their "new" player is the culprit.

BOS of the week everywhere: Roxy Music "Oh Yeah" from Flesh + Blood.

What a romantic song.

ETA:  I don't own this, but now I've made up my mind to go to amazon to buy it today.

Some expressions in your eyes
Always took me by surprise
Where was I?
How was I to know?
How can we drive to a movie show
When the music is here in my car
There's a band playing on the radio
With a rhythm of rhyming guitars
They playing for you on the radio
Oh oh oh oooh (yeah)
And so it came to be our song
And so on through all summer long
Day and night drifting into love
Driving you home from a movie show
So we turn to the sounds in my car
There's a band playing on the radio
With a rhythm of rhyming guitars
They're playing for you on the radio
Oh oh oh oooh, Oh oh oh oooh
It's some time since we said goodbye
And now we lead our separate lives
But where am I?
Where can I go?
Driving alone to a movie show
So I turn to the sounds in my car
There's a band playing on the radio
With a rhythm of rhyming guitars
There's a band playing on the radio
And it's drowning the sound of my tears
They're playing for you on the radio
Oh oh oh oooh (repeat)
"Music is the Earth, People are the Flowers, and I am the Hose."

John & Yoko "Losing You"
Orson Welles  "It took Beethoven four years to write that symphony..."
and now an awesome Pat Metheny Instrumental, "American Garage" title track to one of three albums he released that year.

Ginger Rules!!!

Bruce "The River"

B-52's - "Private Idaho"   ...on the ground like a wild potato...

Woody Allen (from Stardust Memories):
"It's funny, because in my family nobody ever committed suicide, nobody... this was just not a middle-class alternative, you know? My mother was too busy running the boiled chicken through the deflavorizing machine to think about shooting herself or anything."

Jackson Browne "The Boulevard"
"Music is the Earth, People are the Flowers, and I am the Hose."

So do you folks have Windows Media Player 10? is that why it's working for you and not for me? (I have 9 -- I think.)  I don't have 55 minutes to spare to download 10 here at work.  Why do they have to update these friggin' things every six months?
