Joe Tex, "Ain't Gonna Bump No More (With No Big Fat Woman)", one of my fave disco novelties. Not that THAT'S gonna get him into the RnR HOF.

Gladys! "Take Me In Your Arms and Love Me" (not to be confused with Kim Weston or the Doobies, "Take Me In Your Arms").

BTW I meant to post earlier: poc called last nite, Johnathan Richman had just walked into the bar where she was 'tending. She was quite excited.

That indeed is where Mr Tex got it -- it was 1977.

Go Greg -- he's playing "Say it Loud" in honor of Rosa Parks.

WLNG Nugget o' the Day: Mr Rogers & the First Edition and the brilliant "Ruby Don't take Your Love to Town".  Still gives me chills.

"For god's sake, turn around!"
