So far this week:

1971
1987
1979
2000

If we're back to the old pattern, then tomorrow's set will be another 80's effort or a themed set.

I'd hoped for a baseball-themed set, I suppose that could still happen but I doubt it. Next Friday is of course Halloween; if the Giants eventually win the series I guess she'll save the celebratory set until Parade day.

Tough call tomorrow because it's hard to tell whether the week of reruns counts towards spins on the big wheel. Plus the pattern of which you speak may be over. I'll stick my neck out and say 1983.

A question for the veterans: Has 10@10 always been so local-centric, especially local sports-centric?

Yes. Dave and AL have always highlighted Giants stuff, 49er Super Bowl appearances etc.  in years where they occur. SF news events trump other news events (Moscone/Milk, Jim Jones, hippies, and so on). AL's use of Giants clips has been pretty creative this week IMHO, and I suspect she (or the PD) thought this was better than doing one "The World Series starts tonite!" set on Tues.

On the music side, they certainly ignore some of the bigger-name artists from the "San Francisco
scene/sound."  (grumble, grumble)
