Mike, that should be fewer kicks, not less.  One of my biggest pet peeves, grammatically speaking.

It's grammatically correct if he meant it as in "absent kicks," "sans kicks."

Well then, that's a horse of a different color.

And now a trip to Starland.  Mike, how the hell did you know we were getting this one?  And have any of you ever heard another SVB song?  (I haven't.)

I have, but only because I know I watched their TV show mnore than once back in the day.  Nothing remotely memorable, tho'.

I remember the follow-up, a rather nice Mamas-n-Papas-esque thing called "California Day". We had the LP at my college station.

WOS - Seger.  I don't hate all of his stuff, mind -- but this one's almost as noxious to me as "Old Time Rock & Roll."  In this case, it's a genre thing, I lump it in with stuff like "Travelin' Band" that I can't enjoy.

Toys in the Attic. I remember going to Value Giant (or Giant Value) on Geary in the Avenues to buy the album. I remember getting Paul McCartney and Wings there too.
I missed Frampton?

No 10@10 tomorrow -- an all-vinyl celebration, sez Bob.

Think the Peak might do a birthday tribute to Broooce?

Possible -- wait, didn't they do him recently, when he played locally? (yes, I know, only Patti actually gets to "do" him...).

ETA -- The Peak did an all-Bruce set in May.

Close to a 5-way tie after 5 songs on second listen (yes, even the Boston -- the backing vocals make that song for me).  Got a strange question: When Joni's character in "Coyote" laments being "a prisoner of the white lines of the freeway," I wonder if she literally means the divider lines, or if she's referring to the isolation that is exacerbated by doing coke while on the road ...

P.S.  I just have to say it again: "S! E! C-O-N! A! L!"  He kills me.
