as versions of "Take Me To the River" go, Annie L's is behind Rev. Al's and T.Heads'.  But it's the most off-the-beaten-path thing we've heard so far.

Didn't we just hear this song a few minutes ago when it was called "Fake Plastic Trees"?

BOS, tho' I'm thinking this is a case of "even a broken clock is right twice a day" (the broken clock being Renee, not you).

I liked the set well enough.  Dug the Folk Implosion, Garbage, Bush, POT USA, and Jars of Clay back then.  Haven't heard Flood in probably at least two years, although IIRC it was kind of a Dave fave.  The Annie Lennox cover was kind of LN but I'll give it a pass since I haven't heard it before.  Only major complaint is there were too many 95/96 standards and Radiohead, but what's new.
