Electronic "Get The Message"

This song is . . . Rad.
Slipping into something
And out of something else

What's interesting to me here is: when we do get a rarity it's usually *really* obscure and often snoozy. How many typical Fogheads remember this Electronic song? I don't recall Live 105 playing this  in '91 and I'm sure KFOG didn't

BOS Electronic, but that didn't save the set.  We've heard it before in this set which was much better:

Didn't think the set was that bad actually (but then again I like U2 and RHCP).

But here's a list of ten songs that I don't know have ever appeared on 10@10:

"Rhythm Of My Heart", Rod Stewart
"How To Dance", Bingo Boys
"I Saw Red", Warrant
"Chasin' The Wind", Chicago
"Call It Poison", Escape Club
"Touch Me All Night Long", Cathy Dennis
"Easy Come, Easy Go", Winger
"Ride The Wind", Poison
"I'll Do For You", Father MC
"Joyride", Roxette

These were the Sureshot, songs 40-36, 34-32 and 24 on the 3/17/1991 Weekly Top 40.

Actually, it seems to have been popular on Live 105...it was their #7 for the year:

Well, Electronic gets BOS by default.  Certainly a decent rarity.

1. Spin Doctors -- Two Princes
2. Stephen Stills - Treetop Flyer
3. U2 - Who's Going to Ride Your Wild Horses
(News: War starts in Iraq -- brought to you live and in living color on CNN. Bush the Elder doesn't finish the job, setting up his inept son to have to do it)
4. School of Fish - Three Strange Days
5. Stevie Ray Vaughn - The Sky Is Crying
6. Dire Straits - Heavy Fuel
(Movie: Silence of the Lambs. Clarice? Do you like livers, fava beans and a good chianti?)
7. Red Hot Chili Peppers - Breaking The Girl
8. Joe Walsh - Ordinary Average Guy
9. R.E.M. - Losing My Religion
10. Electronic - Get the Message.

Radical's Ra(n)tings:

Good/Necessary
1. B-/F-
2. D/B+
3. B-/D-
4. A-/B- (A bit LN, but probably the most upbeat thing we got all set...and clever enough segue)
5. C/F
6. B-/C (Not exactly a FF, but added nothing to the set either)
7. C+/C+
8. F/B
9. C/F-
10. A-/B+
