I'm bypassing 1989 and listening to a UK retro-chart from 1975 on 2NG.  If AL actually plays something earth-shattering (like one of my long-standing requests) I'll catch it tonite.

Yep, gotta keep my fans guessin'  Apparently I did not get the Molly Shannon connection (Sally O'Malley is 50, just like the Rolling Stones are now).

I had a 10 oclock meeting, and when that was done I didn't feel that 1989 was worth changing stations for.  It might have been great!  But I doubt it.

It seems we got the Stones and FYC and Petty and R.E.M., as well as the Bangles. Maybe not exactly an LN-fest, but it seems somewhat forgettable.
