yay -- I missed Bob's quarterly airing of "Dreadlock Holiday".

Cars - Bye Bye Love
Babys - Every Time I Think Of You
Foreigner - Hot Blooded
Elvis Costello - Pump It Up
Heart - Dog & Butterfly
Doobie Brothers - What A Fool Believes
Van Halen - Jamie's Cryin'
Boston - A Man I'll Never Be
Gerry Rafferty - Baker Street
10cc - Dreadlock Holiday

Quite a yeesh-worthy LN-fest all around.

Stones are a-knockin'. Bob's substitute should follow this with Dave Edmunds.

and -- holy crap! -- he DOES!  a "Knockin" twin-spin. Nicely played, Seaver.

BOS1 Graham Nash, "Chicago". Too bad Chicago doesn't have a song called "Graham".

always a VHM the 'oo, behind Roger's baby blues.

BOS2 EJ across da wattah.

LNs: CCR and Isaac Hayes.

BOS3 Zep, "4 Sticks"

TJ eats purple flowers. or something. Badfinger make your "Day"

Rolling Stones - Can't You Hear Me Knocking
Dave Edmunds - I Hear You Knocking
Graham Nash - Chicago/We Can Change The World
The Who - Behind Blue Eyes
Elton John - Madman Across The Water
Creedence Clearwater Revival - Have You Ever Seen The Rain
Isaac Hayes - Theme From Shaft
Led Zeppelin - Four Sticks
Tommy James - Draggin' The Line
Badfinger - Day After Day

Wed 2/22/12: 1986

the Chernobyl disaster's got nothin' on a Drive '80s set.

VHM VH, "Dreams"; ditto Paul who you can call Al.

WOS1 Fab T-Birds -- the Blues Brothers with more talent and less brains.

LN1: "Wild Wild Life" -- KFOG has made this one a song I never need hear again.

HM live Broooce.

PG shows us 'round his fruit cage. or his fruitcakes. or something.

WOS2: Genesis.  and another: Gregg Allman and his tattoo.

sheesh, TWO live LPs in one set is two too many, Petty.

Winwood's "Finer Things" ends up being the best of a mostly-unnecessary lot today.

Van halen - Dreams
Paul Simon - You Can Call Me Al
Fabulous Thunderbirds - Wrap It Up
Talking Heads - Wild Wild Life
Bruce Springsteen - Thunder Road (live)
Peter Gabriel - Sledgehammer
Genesis - Tonight, Tonight, Tonight
Gregg Allman Band - I'm No Angel
Tom Petty - Refugee (live)
Steve Winwood - The Finer Things

not that I expect bustouts from the Drive, but please let it be a varied set.

BOS1 S&G gettin "Hazy"; BOS2 the Monkees' fantabulous "Valleri" -- with the "cold" ending, no less!

"one two!" -- Mick gets raised by a toothess bearded hag. or something.

Always a son-of-a-BOS3 for Dusty. Always.

VHM Jimi on the wing. I've said it before: the Eagles totally ripped this song off for "Doolin' Dalton"

Loooooong BOS4 Vanilla Fudge, psychedelicizing the Supes.

LN1: Steppenwolfenmagikenkarpeten.

something of a FF on the Drive, but VHM "Classical Gas" anyway.

eeek: uber-duber-LN2 "Hey Jude"

Always a Confessional BOS5 for the GrassRoots. Always.

Simon/Garfunkel - Hazy Shade of Winter
Monkees - Valleri
Rolling Stones - Jumpin' Jack Flash
Dusty Springfield - Son of a Preacher Man
Jimi Hendrix - Little Wing
Vanilla Fudge - You Keep Me Hanging On
Steppenwolf - Magic Carpet Ride
Mason Williams - Classical Gas
Beatles - Hey Jude
Grass Roots - Midnight Confessions
