we welcome Roger Daltrey with open arms and open legs.

Winwood arcs like a diver.

uber-unnecessary: "Centerfold"; WOS3 Aldo Nova.

uber-uber-unnecessary: "Under Pressure". Sheesh.

Jefferson Starship   Find Your Way Back   5.3%
The Who   You Better You Bet   8.1%
Steve Winwood   Arc of a Diver   18.6%

Tue 1/10/12: City to City

Road trip!

"Sweet Home Chicago" to start, natch. (an ENDLESS f---ing version, to boot)

eeek! WOS Journey's "Lights", no matter what city Bob thinks it's about.

BOS1 Kiss, representin' Detroit, yo.

From "Hollywood Nights" to a "NY Minute" -- no cliche left unturned this morning.

"Philly Freedom" and "Viva Las Vegas". Somebody had some "obvious juice" for breakfast.

WOS2: Boston, representin'... er... Boston.

VHM Macca's "London Town" just for being slightly off the beaten path amongst these overexposed classics.

By the time we got to "Woodstock" I was quite exquisitely bored (and not in LA).

Blues Brothers - Sweet Home Chicago
Journey - Lights
Kiss - Detroit Rock City
Bob Seger - Hollywood Nights
Don Henley - New York Minute
Elton John - Philadelphia Freedom
Elvis Presley - Viva Las Vegas
Boston - Feelin' Satisfied
Paul McCartney & Wings - London Town
CSNY - Woodstock

Doobs! you rawk! (down the highway, that is)

Skool's out fo' summah -- in wintah? BOS2 Alice.

VHM everybody's favorite pedophile. (Hey, they still play him at Sharks games)

Gots to roll him: Call Mick da Tumblin' Dice.

BOS3 America, "Sandman"

Tull - Thick as a Brick
Raspberries - Go All the Way
Jackson Browne - Doctor My Eyes
Deep Purple - Smoke on the Water
Loggins & Messina - Danny's Song

Thur 11/12/12: 1984

Bob (as always) plays live T-Heads, which I still consider a bit of a cheat.

Chrissie breaks a few rocks.

Honeydrippers, Glenn Frey, Steve Perry... eek.  Gotta bail for an 8:30 meeting and I couldn't be happier.

Talking Heads - Take Me To The River (Live)
Pretenders - Back on the Chain Gang
Honeydrippers - Sea of Love
Glenn Frey - Smuggler's Blues
Steve Perry - Oh Sherrie
Bruce Springsteen - Born in the U.S.A.
Van Halen - Hot for Teacher
Bob Seger - Understanding
Sammy Hagar - I Can't Drive 55
Cars - Drive

good lawd -- 2 '80s uber-crapfests from Bob this week, not to mention that dreadful '89 set on The Sound.
