did you like ... Jesse James?  I loved it -- fab cinematography.

Yes! I *just* finished watching it. I loved the cinematography, as well. And Brad Pitt, of course. He can do just about anything. I can hardly remember I fell in love with him for being the pretty boy in "Thelma and Louise". Just a disturbing story all-around. Now I'll have to re-read Elton's lyrics.

and young Mr Affleck too.  Brad as Billy Beane in Moneyball opens here Fri.

I don't think I've seen Mr. Affleck in anything else. He was the weakest of all, but then he *was* working with a cast full of seasoned pros. Haven't heard about Moneyball, but I'll keep an eye open. We've been getting mostly crap from the US lately. Maybe it's the crisis.

Another BOS for Ray & the Kinks, suckin' old men.

is that your mondegreen or is that really the lyric?

I suppose it's a mondegreen, as several lyric sites say the line is "I used to smoke cigars, now I suck polo mints."

Polo Mints: the UK version of LifeSavers

look for Drive with yummy Ryan Gosling. I saw a French flick last week called Point Blank -- guy's wife is kidnapped, non-stop chase ensues. Very entertaining.

BOS2 Marianne!

oh my yes. uber-BOS4 from me.
Putting together the various comments, it would seem that AL played MF's Broken English.  If so, throw another BOS on the barbie for me!  What a great album.

I was disgusted (tho' not entirely surprised) to see comments on AL's FB-page like "ugh! fingernails on a blackboard!". And someone else called "Tusk" the "worst Fleetwood Mac album ever". Philistines.

If so, they either need to learn the proper use of the break tag, or to close their paragraph tags.
Let's get right to it.
