RIP Roger Nichols, 66, sound engineer Steely Dan

Sound engineer Roger Nichols gave Steely Dan its distinctive sound.  He worked with many other artists, Frank Sinatra, the Beach Boys, John Denver, Placido Domingo, Rickie Lee Jones, Roseanne Cash, but his association with Steely Dan produced six of his seven Grammy awards.  He was 66.
