back to "Easy 93" for a few hours. First OMG of the afternoon: Sandpipers, "Come Saturday Morning".

2nd OMG: Maureen McGovern, "Can You Read My Mind", which I probably havent heard since it charted.

3rd: "Over You", Gary Puckett's sweet (and least-creepy) ballad.

Listening to Scelsa's WFUV show from Feb 19th; Mel Torme's "Lullabye of Birdland" into Bette Midler's "Lullabye of B'way" (which I haven't heard since that LP came out in late '73)

And then he jumps into Graham Parker's "Heat Treatment", still on my AL 1976 wish list.

Good gawd: Capt beefheart's "Tropical Hot Dog Night", followed by Dr Hook, "Freakin' at the Freaker's Ball". My mind is blown, and it ain't even noon. "white ones black ones brown ones red ones/necrophiliacs lookin' for dead ones"

Picked a good time to tune in KCDX: Squeeze's "Is That Love?" -- "the Morey Morey Morey cool down".  Followed by Boz's always-fab "Dinah Flo". And proxy of shray, the Moodies' "Watching & Waiting".

Plus Mink DeVille's "Savoire Faire" and Poco's "A Right Along", which I surely haven't heard in decades.
