VHM REM. Ahem.

This song is NTM.

"1,000,000" is the first track on the first R.E.M. EP, Chronic Town, which came out right after their first single "Radio Free Europe".  But RFE wasn't included & a year later kicked off Murmur.
"Music is the Earth, People are the Flowers, and I am the Hose."

double DAY-um, this might be the depest REM cut I can recall.

one more BOS...I think Capricorn Two has officially outperformed Capricorn One.

as sequels often do.  Here's hoping this horoscope thang is a monthly occurance.

Well, if she started with Capricorn, chances are she'll continue with the rest of them.  I admit, I first thought the theme was silly: playing a song by and entire band which has one Capricorn member seemed a little easy.  (She played The Faces' Ooh La La in honor of Rod Stewart, but he has pretty much nothing to do with that cut).  If she plays a good set around this or any theme, then all is well.

"Dang, what are the odds that all these great songs are Capricorn-ish?"

"I'd say one-in-twelve?"

+1 for thinking the Duran Duran version of "White Lines" being good - too bad it's been sadly underrated.

What are the chances of hearing the Space Monkeys doing "Sugarcane" on a 1997 set?

Agreed about Duran Duran, although I heard that version many years before the original, in fact I think that song was also my introduction to Duran Duran...  :-X

Thanks for reminding me about the Space Monkeys!  I forgot that I have that CD.  :o (I picked it up in the 'discard' section of fye at Gallup, NM in 2004, for 2-for-$5 simply because I hadn't heard that song in a really long time.  The other one I got was "Club Mix 99".)

AAAAAAACK! WOS Martha Motel -- bad in "summer" sets, bad any time of year.

at least it's not Quarterflash.  (I like this one, in any case.)

I saw her at the Marin County Fair a couple summers back.  My friend Bobby remarked "She looks like someone you'd bump into at Ross".

oh, snap!

LOL...so true!

Tuned in right on time, now, for start of the replay. No cow-orker disruptions.  Happy birthday Dave Grohl.  :D
