it's moe.  -- all lowercase and with a period at the end.  jam band, very Dead like, they even do two sets at their shows, like the Dead.  I know b/c I won tickets to see them at the Fillmore years back, but I get tired and left during the 2nd set, dude.

I'll give a BOS to Elf.  I watched that for the first time with my family just a few days ago.  Such a sweet movie -- can't believe I got misty watching it...

yes, me, too (got misty).  it's pretty great.

Add me to the list of those who've taken Elf to heart. But the fact that Zoey Deschanel is in it as a blonde no less--and she has a scene in the shower, appeals to other parts of my anatomy. And it also hipped me to her wonderful pipes--the girl can sing.
Let's get right to it.

ok, every time I hear this I get won over,  forgive my initial harsh reaction.  I mean

"Some people think Ebenezer Scrooge is.
Well he's not, but guess who is?  All Three Stooges."

that's brilliant.

Funny you should mention this line. I also get a kick out of it, in no small part because Larry Fine was a cousin of my wife's grandmother. What that makes Sarah to him I have no clue. But the fact that there's Stooge blood in my family now is just the coolest.

Better to have Stooge in yer blood than blood in yer stool. (didn't Tom Waits say that?)

More Xmas?

Someone just asked AL on FB if there'll be a  "KFOG Christmas Card" 10@10 and she replied she wants to do 2 more holiday sets. To which I commented that a "winter" set would be a cool idea.
