Was Supertramp that much more popular in the Midwest than elsewhere?  This & about 3 other songs from Crime of the Century were AOR staples as far as I knew.


"Dreamer" and "Bloody Well Right" got NYC AOR play, but that was it.

see, we also heard "School" & "Rudy" where I lived.  Both of which show up on DDT often enough.

BOS5 (Am I feeling generous today or what?) Billy Swan. This sounded so wonderful on Top 40 radio at the time. Written, as previously noted, for Elvis, who turned it down but began doing in his live shows after it became a hit for Mr Swan.
