BOS to Echo & The Bunnymen

regarding Dwight Twilley, I noticed he quotes himself in the background vocal fade out, you can heat them singing "I'm On Fire."

oh wowzee!  BOS again to The Smiffs!

Morrissey has always sounded whiney to me.

VHM to Echo.

I've finally realized the Smiths, unlike most other bands, are at their best when they drone on.  This one isn't quite that, but it ain't bad either.

and your point is? ;)

complaining that Morrissey sounds whiny is like wondering why rappers sound black.

take your bay-bee by the wrist
and then the mouth
and then the fist...

er... eww.

Is that a joking mondegreen or a real one?  (The real line is "And in her mouth, an amethyst," in case the latter.)

VHM Romeo Void (so much better than NSN) & BOS2 to the Cure.

I haven't heard this version of "Caterpillar" in 20 years, I suppose - I'm far more accustomed to the remix on Mixed Up.

BOS to "Tenderness," a major favorite of the era.  Reminds me of my bickering with my old roommate Eddie - "I open my mouth, and out comes something frightful."
