Wed 10/9/10: 1980

Rob does '80 and in addition to a couple nice rarities like Mr Palmer's "Johnny & Mary", he comes up with 2 bona-fide ATBBs: The Specials' "Stereotype" and Yellow Magic Orchestra's fun remake of "Tighten Up" -- that one worth listening to the replay all by itself.

I've got the Peak on this morning - Rob promises that half of this set, the Peak has never played before (!).  Hoping for an interesting 1974.

Early BOS to "Bungle in the Jungle."  Wishing I'd been up early enough to catch those other sets this week.

can't stream, but following the "just played" list -- damn, haven't heard that Souther/Hillman/Furay thing since the '70s (it was a WNEW-FM fave, as Pete Fornatale was the world's biggest Ritchie Furay fan).

well, other than the SHF Band I don't see anything approaching rarity status so far. WOS Muthaless Chilluns, when they mutha is dead lawd.
