I think Kris wrote it. He might have performed it in 70 but that didn't sound like him.


I think that was him.  Nice version.  And having George Harrison's If Not For You follow it was two-song highlight this week.

And it got a little better as Joe Walsh's The Bomber makes the scene!

WOS "Iron Man."  First song every longhaired kid in my hometown learned on guitar.  I never understood its appeal.

What about Smoke On The Water?   ;)

ETA: just occurred to me: I bet it was the steel industry culture in PA which drew those to learn Iron Man before Smoke on the Water,  
whereas the kids from Ohio, where the Cuyahoga River caught fire, probaby learned to play Smoke first.  haha!

Listening and loving the replay -- VHM "Chris" Kristofferson as our deluded friend Scott Fisher called him on FB (seriously, how can you type that name incorrectly -- twice! -- and not realize it? He is one weird dude).  BOS2 Hari Georgeson.

But that was an odd-sounding mix of "Ride a White Swan" -- WTF?
