« on: September 13, 2010, 03:23:30 PM »
You'll recognize character actor Harold Gould, he played con man Kid Twist in "The Sting" and appeared in other films such as "Harper," the 1974 remake of "The Front Page," "Love and Death," "Silent Movie," "Freaky Friday" and "Patch Adams."  On TV he was Valerie Harper’s father on "Rhoda" and Betty White’s boyfriend on "The Golden Girls."   He was 86; prostate cancer.

I knew exactly who you meant when I saw his name. He must have been in hundreds of TV shows in the 70s and 80s. White hair, very distinguished, usually with a mustache, equally adept at playing fathers (often Jewish) or Mafiosi.
Let's get right to it.
