Man, seems like a lot of 50-/60-somethings dying lately!
The Call certainly got a lot of airplay on 10at10 over the years, as they're from Santa Cruz.

I liked how un-rock star-ish Michael Been seemed.   I Still Believe and The Walls Came Down are two powerful tunes.  R.I.P.

I did not know that: his son Robert Levon Been, fronts Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. And dad was working as their sound engineer!
