I'll give a BOS for some glam-orch-disco from ELO!

Cow orker made me miss a few songs, but back in time for most of Ian and the Blockheads -- big BOS!

WB, Dave - it was gettin' lonely out here...   :)

Thanks for holding the fort down.  I was listening, but not ready to post.

yes, the topic came up in conversation at the Exploratorium only a few weeks ago, and I spent hours going through my old prints looking for these pics.  I couldn't even remember what year it was in!

Hrm... guessing I didn't get my Cher or MJ.  Well, I'll catch up with the replay, but I don't see any bustouts among the comments -- tho' the Patrick Hernandez hasn't been heard on 10@10 since 2006, and Dave never played "Dance This Mess", but AL has once before iirc. And the Raydio is a genuine rarity -- one play from Dave in '08.

 1.  Nick Lowe- Cruel To Be Kind
 2.  Dave Edmunds- Queen Of Hearts
 3.  Doobie Brothers- What A Fool Believes
(Movie: The Jerk)
 4.  Ray Parker Jr & Raydio- You Can't Change That
 5.  Hot Chocolate- Everyone's A Winner
(TV: SNL Lisa & Todd)
 6.  Patrick Hernandez- Born To Be Alive
 7.  Ian Dury & The Blockheads- Hit Me With Your Rhythm Stick
 8.  B-52's- Dance This Mess Around
(News: Eclipse)
 9.  ELO- Shine A Little Love
10. Village People- Y....YMCA! (BOS!!)

what, no love for Hot Chocolate?  Nice to see disco-ELO getting a spin; Dave ignored that one for a long time, even as ELO was one of his most-played artists evah.

ETA: listened to the replay; gotta say it was much better than it looked to me on paper, Nick Lowe notwithstanding.  Dave Edmunds is more convincing "layin' out another line" than Jiuce Newton was. (tho' the time she sang the song for Nancy "Just Say No" Reagan was priceless)
