RIP Stephen Schneider, 65; Stanford climate change expert

Schneider was a noted Stanford climatalogist and lead author among the scientists on the U.N. international panel that shared the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize with Al Gore. He died of a heart attack Monday while flying to London from a science meeting in Stockholm.  He was 65.
