WOS for McD's pushing junk food...
Then check out the video sundaygal recommended.
"I'm totally in love with this new band, Best Coast.  Their sound is a mixture of girl group, surf pop and garage rock.  What's not to love?  Their debut album is out July 27th.  Here's a sample (and cute video)" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Sj5_WITMpA

Bwahahaha!   love it!  beautiful SoCal imagery and wall of sound shoegazey music (did I use that term correctly, or just embarrass myself?)

Even Ronnie himself prefers the old In-N-Out to McDonald's food.... and who doesn't?

Hoping for the Turtles' "Elenore."

did you actually request it? It's on my ever-expanding list of songs to ask for -- today I requested the Cowsills and "1-2-3 Red light", but next time "Elenore" fo' shore.

I don't request very often - I fear becoming a ball-hog.

I've found the odds are quite good when you request on her FB page. And she clearly tries to spread it around and not use the same people's suggestions all the time.

Ronald McDonald taking you to In N Out Burger on a date is just mind blowing.

The stream did not work at all for me today during the set.  It is now, though.

maybe tonight (or Saturday) I can grab a recorded copy of the streamed set.

Ahhh...I'm a big fan of shoegazey music!  This is the return of great American Indie music.  We're all the rage in the UK and the rest of Europe again.   8)

BTW, did you note during the back announce that AL said she held back the local bands (Dead, Airplane, CCR, Janis w/Big Bro', Sly, etc) for sets next month as part of KFOG's Local Music Month.
