Woo Hoo! "Teenage Kicks" -- which has officially become AL's personal Katrina, but no matter. BOS5.

Well, I'm hoping for some Green Day for this green day.

Not unless they repatriate in a hurry.  ;)

Agreed!

Maybe we can get her to play "It's Going To Happen" next time.

Coldplay can slavishly imitate U2's current sound all they want, but they'll never be as good as early Bono-n-the-boyz.

A decent showing, as I'd expect from AL. Four bustouts (Stiff Little Fingers, Rory Gallagher, and both of the Sineads), five repeats from the DM era, and the Undertones tune, which we know she's played a few times--and can continue doing so as often as she likes, so far as I'm concerned.

Was going to catch the replay, but I got the news about Alex Chilton about 10 minutes to 10, so have been immersed in Big Star and a Bridgeport IPA since then. Life is short.
Let's get right to it.

Good to know that Bridgeport is still around, even if Alex Chilton isn't.  I don't think I'd seen any of their fine brews in CA for a long time.
