You can't hurry love -- but you can seal it in Tupperware for years.  BOS5 the super Supes with one of the best singles evah.
Speaking of the Primettes, here are the Primes with one of the best ever, "Ain't Too Proud to Beg".

who's this with the walking blues?

ah, Paul Butterfield -- proxy of geoff, I'll wager.

I never noticed this body-shop ad until Gaz mentioned it. And now it's annoying the living crap outta me.

Well, switch immediately to KPIG and hear the Viscounts doing Harlem Nocturne.  That's the ticket!

LAWD! BOS2 Love, "7 and 7 Is"
Boom bip bip yeah!  I used to think this was Jimi Hendrix.  He sounds a lot like him, I think.

not many tunes have been covered by both Rush and the Ramones.
did they cover this Love tune?
Don't stand in the way of LOVE!

now this looks like a hot set.  I'd seriously BOS #2,3,5,6,7,8!  Probably have to pick Love over all, but hard to say.
they're all good tunes.

 1)  The Count Five- Psychotic Reaction
 2)  Love- Seven and Seven Is
(Ad: Rock 'Em Sock'Em Robots)
 3)  Johnny Rivers- Secret Agent Man
 4)  Swingin' Medallions- Double Shot (Of My Baby's Love)
(Movie trailer- Batman!!!)
 5)  The Outsiders- Time Won't Let Me
 6)  The Beatles- She Said, She Said (B.O.S!!)
(News: LBJ State of the Union)
 7)  Bob Dylan- Most Likely You Go Your Way and I'll Go Mine
8 )  The Paul Butterfield Blues Band- Walkin' Blues
(Ad: Let's have  Tupperware Party!)
 9)  The Supremes- You Can't Hurry Love

Excellent set! I'd have to label that one a 10-way tie. Glad I was able to catch the replay. Btw, I concur that the Outsiders tune was either a re-mix or a complete re-recording, although it was a lot closer to the original than that other re-do we heard a couple weeks ago.

By the way, the official Bustout Count is five: Johnny Rivers, Swingin' Medallions, Beatles (!?!?!), Dylan, and the Butterfield Blues Band. 7+7 Is has appeared only once previously in the DB. And the Outsiders tune is making its first appearance in a year-based set. Dave played it only in Time theme-sets for springing forward or falling back, once each.

Hmmm... will we get a "time" set Friday?
