The Sound, 12/1/09: 1979
« on: December 01, 2009, 12:34:05 PM »
After AL's truly spectacular set yeterday, this looks even more pedestrian than it already is (Herb Alpert notwithstanding). Glad I didn't have to suffer thru "Babe" again.

Bad Case Of Loving You by Robert Palmer
Gold by John Stewart
Fool In The Rain by Led Zeppelin
It's All I Can Do by Cars
Dance The Night Away by Van Halen
What A Fool Believes by Doobie Brothers
Since You Been Gone by Rainbow
Don't Do Me Like That by Tom Petty
Rise by Herb Alpert
Babe by Styx
You spin me right 'round, baby, right 'round

yeah, the Sound usually follows a real obvious playlist path.  Larry may go nuts and throw on Herb Alpert, which seems like a Big Deal to much of the Sound's demo, but the enlightened and spoiled KFOG 10at10ers just roll their eyes and goes "ho hum."  Larry pretty good, I like his personality a lot, but they don't seem to give him a lot of room to play outside the lines.
