gotta love the LA Times.  as far as I can tell, nowhere in that (interesting) article did they use inflammatory language in describing Christian (or even Hudson for that matter).  Can you imagine if Fox News had written that?

You might recall the tabloid frenzy that erupted news media attention when Hudson, who had maintained a resolutely heterosexual proper public image throughout his life, announced revealed in 1985 that he his gay lifestyle had ultimately resulted in his succumbing to AIDS, which was sweeping decimating the gay community homosexuals. He died a few months later, only to be sued by his enraged former illicit lover."
