RIP singer Al Martino, 82

Al Martino, 82, played singer Johnny Fontane in "The Godfather" and sang the theme to the film; also had eleven Top 40 hits including "I Love You Because" #3 in 6/63, "I Love You More and More Each Day" #9, 3/64, "Spanish Eyes" #15, 12/65, and "To the Door of the Sun" #17 in 3/75 (we heard that one on a Casey Kasem AT40 replay):

LNG jock mentioned Al's passing, saying he met him once, and Al was a super nice dude.  Then he played "Spanish Eyes."
