I am verklempt! WGN is no longer carrying it; per the Soul Train Wikipedia entry, it's been pulled from syndication. My Saturday mornings will be a lot emptier from now on...

That *really* sucks.  I had several other friends who grooved to those.  Including all the music geeks who attended the post-EMP house party in Seattle; we all danced to "Fame" as that ep aired.

I was flipping channels after 11 AM on Sunday morning when I came across a classic Soul Train on the Centric network (I believe this used to be BET Jazz and available on Directv channel 330). A couple was doing the unscrambling part (the answer was Spinners). It appears that network has picked up the series.

Yay! I don't think I have that channel, but hey there's hope.
