He was a real pioneer, doing new age/soft jazz/acoustic stuff before it was called anything.  I can't remember the tunes now, but I think he was played on KSAN back in the day.

I'm afraid I only know his work as the writer of Helen Reddy's forgotten "Peaceful."

His cover of "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" -- in which he gets the lyrics wrong, and in doing so takes a line that originally rhymed and makes it NOT RHYME -- is on my all-time HFH list. But "Peaceful" is a lovely tune, and Gaz you neeed to seek out Georgie fame's version, which predates Reddy's by 3 years.
