OMFG! BOS6 GrassRoots, "Sooner or Later"

VHM from me.  When I first heard this on 3WS in the mid '80s, I assumed it was Motown.  Was shocked to learn it was the Grass Roots.

but it's so... white.

What can I say, I didn't hear it that way at the time.

Bullet were British? News to me.

ETA: Wiki sez...

Quote
Bullet was a one-hit wonder American rock band. Its one hit, "White Lies, Blue Eyes", made the top 40 on the [Billboard Hot 100]] chart in 1971. Very little else is known about the group.

An English band also called "Bullet" is often given credit mistakenly for the hit "White Lies, Blue Eyes". The duo formed in London, comprising of former Atomic Rooster members, John Cann (vocalist) and Paul Hammond (drummer). Although this band was also called Bullet, they had to change their name because of the American band already named Bullet.
