The Drive, 10/23/08: 1976
« on: October 23, 2008, 07:57:57 AM »
The Reaper cometh yet again. Given what an overplayed-hit-fest Dave gave us the other day in '76, Bob won't have to work very hard to do better. But starting with a repeat ain't helping his cause.

BOS Frampton, "Lines on My Face", just for not being one of the "hits" from FCA.

The bad news: Kansas. The good news: it's a relatively bearable, VHM-able rarity ("What's on My Mind"). Bob has already topped Dave.

yikes, live Skynyrd.  Bob gets points for playing an LP you rarely hear (I'm tempted to say this is an ATBB), but a live take on "Gimme 3 Steps" is the very definition of unnecessary.

Even Bob's Boston choice is a bit better: "Hitch a Ride".

Blue Oyster Cult - Don't Fear the Reaper
Santana - Dance Sister Dance
Heart - Crazy On You
Peter Frampton - Lines on My Face
Kansas - What's On My Mind
Aerosmith - Back in the Saddle
Steve Miller - The Window
Lynyrd Skynyrd - Gimme Three Steps (live)
George Harrison - This Song
Boston - Hitch a Ride
