This is an absolute shock.  Especially since it wasn't a single AFAIK and it wasn't one of the stronger tracks on the Spitfire album.  Still and all, sorry I missed.  Will hear tonight at work, prolly.

I don't remember it being a single, either (and I don't have Whitburn handy), but it got significant AOR airplay as an LP cut, at least in NYC. I recall it being segued into/out of the Raspberries' "Drivin' Around" more than once.

Caught the replay, and may I just say (a) this is the first time I've ever heard "Cruisin'" outside my own record collection, and (b) this was a truly magnificent set.  BOS to JS for being, well, JS; but VVHM votes to Queen (another song I remember from way back, and how I love that electric piano) and Genesis (my favorite of their early material; and I notice that Boz Scaggs borrowed the lick for "1993") and GL's tale told from the Chippewa on down.
