BOS Gladys Knight
A quintessential set closer.  Marvelous work.  Mike (and anyone else), you're in for a treat tonight.

LAWD! this one "went to eleven"!

8/18/08 – Monday! Today on 10@10…Early ‘70’s Soul Patrol!!

1. Beginning of the End – Funky Nassau
2. Freda Payne – Band of Gold
3. James Brown – Make it Funky
4. Little Sister – You’re the One
5. 8th Day – She’s Not Just Another Woman
6. Aretha Franklin – Day Dreaming (BEST OF SET!!)
7. The Chi-Lites – Hey Girl
8. Spinners – It’s a Shame (BEST OF SET!!)
9. Chairmen of the Board – Give Me Just a Little More Time
10. Stevie Wonder – I’m Wonderin’
11. Gladys Knight & the Pips – Neither One of Us (Wants to Be the First to Say Goodbye)

BONUS TRACK: Marvin Gaye – Let’s Get it On

Nothing Dave hasn't played before, but a treat nonetheless. Note the intern error on the Chi-Lites tune. My BOS woulda been 8th Day; wish Dave'd play their other hit, "You've Got To Crawl (Before You Can Walk)"

And if you're near radio or 'net, Judge's '70s Motown salute on KPOO is shaping up to be mind-blowingly Fab. Yoo. Luss.  Obscure post-Diana Supes: "Your Wonderful Sweet Sweet Love", followed by the much bigger "Nathan Jones".

Note the intern error on the Chi-Lites tune.
Maybe the intern was anticipating the Tempts on Judge!  (See Capital Gold thread.)

my two bits: if there's an error on the KFOG list, we should just change it, and not immortalize the intern's screwups.

Spoken like a true copy editor!   :)  (or a fan/friend of copy editor types)

I would normally say Yes, it should be fixed, but I just heard the 10 pm replay, and DM himself called it "Hey Girl."  Do we dare correct Dave??  Let's draw straws...

Darn, I missed a good set. And, you know Dave does not always take correction well.
