arrived in time for bane-of-Gaz, fave-of-mine: The Jags' Elvis C imitation "Back of My Hand". One of the great New Wave OHWs of the period, still sounds great on the radio.

I missed "Flo & Eddie on backing vox" on you-know-what, as well as another trad WOS, "Emotional Rescue"

But OMGWTFLOL! Here's The Teardrop Explodes, "When I Dream". BOS2 after the Jags.  Rob really knows his New Wave gems.

and we close with -- BOS4 -- Phil Lynott, "The King's Call". Wow, a few frequent flyers notwithstanding, this was superb. VERY sorry to have missed Joy Division.  Worth catching on the replay fo' sho'!
