mmmm, dreamy weavings...

Bos Gary Wright, for flashback purposes alone.

a shelter

Dream Weaver always nice.

I've just closed my eyes again
Climbed aboard the dream weaver train
Driver take away my worries of today
And leave tomorrow behind

Ooh dream weaver
I believe you can get me through the night
Ooh dream weaver
I believe we can reach the morning light
Fly me high through the starry skies
Maybe to an astral plane
Cross the highways of fantasy
Help me to forget today's pain

Though the dawn may be coming soon
There still may be some time
Fly me away to the bright side of the moon
And meet me on the other side
Sharks bleed teal.

Dave was really going gangbusters there for a while, but Queen/Wild Cherry/Gary Wright is a rather pedestrian trifecta to close on, IMHO.

Sorry, my im,pending sigmoidoscopy ahs me wearing premature cranky pants.

You are excused.  I actually had to look it up, and I wish I had not.  Good luck with that, bud.

I was wondering about the cranky pants ever since you called "Roundabout" a Katrina in the previous set.

I saw a standup comedian do practically a whole routine on that once:

The doctor told me they were going to just 'look around'.  Two minutes in and I asked him, "What are you looking for, a parking spot?"

But seriously, take care bub.

Stop pushin' that dope!
Dope users!
Stop usin' the dope!

BOS, even though I continue to use the dope.

BOS "Silver Springs" The goat at her least goaty.

I'm gonna regret using the word, but her vocal is truly mesmerizing on that one.  BOS2 from me.  But what a set so far.

This Boz is new, or at least rare, to my ears.  His Hits! comp really did include the wrong songs, dinnit?  Perhaps I should seek a box?

PS: He gets damn wiggy here! http://youtube.com/watch?v=afBdFyE7PeE He does the "Monty Burns" and the "Groucho Duckwalk" as well as the "Linda Evans Shoulder Shiv."  But not, alas, the "Modified Ba-fungu."

No, you just need to own a copy of Silk Degrees, silly. Virtually every track on it coulda been a hit single if they'd released 'em all.

I'd advocate getting a copy of Slow Dancer while you're at it. It didn't get nearly the sales or the chart success that Silk Degrees did two years later, but I think the performances are just as good.
Let's get right to it.
