Tuned in just in time for the Dead's acoustic Bird Song, off the Reckoning album. Nice.

Trivia: who was this song written about? (Geoff, I recuse you from answering.)

So how was NC? did ya say hello to John Edwards for us?

Really nice. Weather was perfect, more details later.

OMFG!!! My fave Beatles pop tune ever! And possibly the genesis of power pop. Uber-BOS, And Your Bird Can Sing. Wish this song were longer than 2:12.

Ginger stole your trivia question, dude!

So what was the answer?
"Music is the Earth, People are the Flowers, and I am the Hose."

--Carlos Santana, 2010

Janis Joplin.  Which means it would make a great M3S with Joan Baez's "In the Quiet Morning" and that Country Joe & the Fish song about Janis. Or "American Pie".
You spin me right 'round, baby, right 'round
