I'd never heard this before, or at least never paid attention.  When they hit the electric piano solo I thought they were segueing into "Brandy."

Well, this song did win a Grammy, and Dave plays it a lot, so I'm surprised you hadn't heard it.  The guitarist, Barry 'Byrd' Burton played some phenomenal licks on the first few albums before he retired from the band due to touring.  I met him once in Nashville, real nice guy.  The pianist, James Hooker, has shown up  in some pretty major bands since then too.
