BOS3 Box Tops, "The Letter", maybe the best under-two-minutes 45 in all of rock.

Definitely up there, though my personal favorite under-2 is the Mamas and Papas' take on "Glad to Be Unhappy."

S&G edge out Van the Man. So, why aren't oldies stations playing "At the Zoo" 20 times a week the way they do "Brown Eyed Girl"?

Every Mother's Son   Come on Down to My Boat   3.7%
Cream   Strange Brew   5.6%
Stevie Wonder   I Was Made to Love Her   2.6%
Rolling Stones   Ruby Tuesday   4.2%
Jimi Hendrix   Purple Haze   7.2%
Box Tops   The Letter   6.1%
Simon & Garfunkel   At the Zoo   24.5%
Van Morrison   Brown Eyed Girl   22.0%
Aretha Franklin   Chain of Fools   4.7%
Strawberry Alarm Clock   Incense & Peppermints   19.4%
