One of my fave INXS tunes, I remember the first time I heard it was when NBC used it during the 1988 Olympics.

I'll be listening in the car to Dave, is it for sure that he's doing a similar set or are we just thinking wishfully?

Given that we got '72 yesterday... a theme set is likely, so we're playing the odds.  I didn't hear enuf of the morning show to say whether he made any mention.

Super Duper BOS Tom Waits, "Time". Lovely.

Well Gavin was on for about an hour between 8 & 9, and not surprisingly they didn't talk about 10@10.

His Honor was at the peak of his game, just sounded great, and the Fogheads kept asking him meaty, substantive questions (the Armory, Hunters Point, Heather Fong, mixed-use art/performance studio spaces, the Niners, etc.)

Stephen Colbert is a f---ing genius.

Annalisa used him yesterday for the mid-day mindgames.  Colbert was responding to a new statistic that a majority of enlisted military said they were "comfortable" serving with gays.  Colbert responded that we were dangerously close to a slippery slope, so he was proposing a new policy to replace 'Don't Ask-Don't Tell'....

"Time is a Runaway" by... Alternate Routes? Who??  New to me.

Alternate Routes are managed by Starpolish, the website I used to write indie-artist reviews for.  Their business model changed from broader artist advice to narrower artist management, so I haven't had a role there in months.  The Routes have a good sound about them.  Surprised to hear they're getting play out there!
