KPOO played non-stop JB from about 10pm Xmas night until 9 Tuesday morning.

CDX-ing today (despite intermittent buffering). EJ is growing some funk of his own, amigo.

Nice (tho' probably unintentional) segue:  From Gary "U.S." Bonds' "School is Out" to Billy Swan's "I Can Help".

OMFG! Leon Russell, "Queen of the Roller Derby". Haven't heard this in ages.  Used to make a great segue with Phil Ochs' "Kansas City Bomber".

another nice segue: from the Knickerbockers' "Lies" (one of the best Beatles-soundalikes EVAH) to the Fab Four themselves, "Can't Buy Me Love".

one I didn't expect: Collin Raye's "My Kind of Girl", a country hit from the early '90s. He sounds a lot like Glenn Frye on this one.

And it's followed, incredibly, by Andy Pratt's great "Avenging Annie", which I haven't heard since I played it on college radio in the late '70s.

Listening to the CG Rock Show for the first time in ages --he's doing "the A-to-Zed of Rock" (alpha by artist).  AC/DC followed by Aerosmith...

oddly, for the letter "E", we get the Eagles doing a live version of "Please Come Home For Xmas", which I've never heard before.
