My BOS #1 goes to Lone Justice "Shelter" & #2 to Los Lobos "Rosalie".  This woulda made a great duet for Mick Jagger I think.

Doesn't sound like it could be anyone else, but I don't know the tune.  But I gotta fly, so I'll rely on you to find out for me.

Indeed it was: "Tide is Turning". New to me, not one Dave has ever played.  Followed by the RePlaceMats, "Can't Wardly Wait".

BOS2 Chrissie's gorgeous rendition of "Have Yourself a Merry Little Xmas", from the first (and best) Very Special Christmas CD.

from Wikipedia: "For unknown reasons, Bon Jovi's "Back Door Santa" was replaced on later pressings of the album with "I Wish Every Day Could Be Like Christmas," also by Bon Jovi."  (???)

This is news to me!  Anyone have it on CD & can confirm/deny?

PS: I agree with your assessment.  And it's still one of my favorite holiday albums of all.

I have the orig; but the track-listing for the version for sale on Amazon (which is dated 1990 rather than 1987) indeed shows the substitution. Maybe someone decided "Back Door Santa" wasn't family-friendly?
