The Peak, 11/30/06: It's 1993

Terrific JC Mellencamp song I didn't know -- "What If I Came Knocking" -- and the most-representative-of-year "Cannonball" by the Breeders.  1993 may have been modern rock's biggest commercial year.
“The choir of children sing their song.  They've practiced all year long.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.”

"One Sweet World", an underplayed DMB song I'm actually finding tolerable.
You spin me right 'round, baby, right 'round
