« on: September 21, 2006, 08:54:59 PM »
Dave's set was a delight but DAY-UM! I'm sorry to have missed this anti-war set:

CSNY : Ohio
Creedence Clearwater Revival : Fortunate Son
Country Joe & The Fish : Fish Cheer/Fixing To Die Rag
Edwin Starr : War
Bob Dylan : Blowin' In The Wind
Barry McGuire : Eve Of Destruction
Jefferson Airplane : Volunteers
Coven : One Tin Soldier
Eric Burdon & the Animals : Sky Pilot
John Lennon : Give Peace a Chance

I mean, WOW!
You spin me right 'round, baby, right 'round

cool set.  On the way home from work, caught part of KPIG's peace set.  Dylan doing "Masters of War" and Neil Young's "Shock and Awe."  Man, I gots to say I was crankin' that mutha up during Neil as I cruised through the park, by the Buffalo!

Maybe not the right thread to ask, but is Neil going to focus on Living With War in this year's Bridge School Benefit show?  Or does he separate his politics out from a show such as that?  I wish that album had gotten more visibility -- it came and it went.   :x
