The Peak, 9/18/06: 1978 yet again
« on: September 18, 2006, 07:40:37 AM »
and again Rob comes thru, even playing the Plastic Bertrand we were denied on KFOG last week (maybe he listens on the net?). He is the King of the Divan!

Flash And The Pan - Walking In The Rain
Blues Brothers - Soul Man
Police - Roxanne
Robert Gordon - Fire
Warren Zevon - Lawyers, Guns, And Money
Buzzcocks - Ever Fallen In Love
Peter Tosh - (You Gotta Walk) Don't Look Back
Neil Young - Lotta Love
Cars - My Best Friend's Girl
Plastic Bertrand - Ca Plane Pour Moi

all this, a Rutles clip, and the Buzzcocks too!

Note to Rob: I don't think Dallas was an Aaron Spelling production.
You spin me right 'round, baby, right 'round

1. Is the Flash/Pan track the Ronettes song?!

2. Buzzcocks go back that far?  I'd thought that song was, like, 1980.
“The choir of children sing their song.  They've practiced all year long.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.”
