ah, Buggles.

I made a fabulous (if I do say so meself) radio-themed mixtape about 10 years ago.  I'll have to remind myself tonite to list some of the tunes Inessa didn't get around to.

the KINK backannounce (even without Inessa) is always the most detailed and interesting.

Yeah, do that please.  And guess what, it's not Inessa today.

Looks like Inessa (or whoever) may have pulled an 11@10, cuz the the KINK set listed above includes 10 songs but doesn't include REM's Radio Song, which Mark's first post said was the TOTHC. And I'm a little surprised that neither set includes Joe Jackson's On Your Radio. Of course, I'm sure there are loads of radio themed songs that aren't on either list (Radio Sweetheart just came to mind too).
Let's get right to it.

Y'know... I wondered why "Radio Song" wasn't on the KINK playlist page -- I know I commented during the set that playing 2 REM songs was bad form.

I had many "leftover" radio songs that didn't make the cut on my 90-min cassette, including the JJ and of course Gaz's fave "Pilot of the Airwaves". I wanted to track down Cashman & West's "AM/FM Blues" too, but never got a Round Tuit.
