And I meant to mention then that the album YNG is from,
Heart Like a Wheel, is one of the great "OMG did we get lucky" stories in music history. Ronstadt had left Capitol (where, as a leftover from her Stone Poneys days, she made several LPs with marginal success) and signed with Asylum. Her first Asylum LP,
Don't Cry Now had been released in late '73. But it turned out she owed Capitol one more album -- which turned out to be
HLAW, which, thanks to 2 huge singles, made her a big star and sold 2 million copies.
